Most American voters wanted former President Donald Trump back in office, even a significant amount of Black people.
Many must have forgotten how Trump’s first administration seemed to give bigots the authorization to broadcast their racism and ignorance to the masses.
Therefore, the Black people who voted for Trump should be the last to complain about White supremacists parading through American cities like Columbus, Ohio, insulting Black people with racial slurs and insults.
This is what many Black Americans, specifically men, wanted.
Therefore, suck it up buttercup, to paraphrase rap legend, Willie D of the Geto Boys.
Hanna Park of CNN reported, “Ohio officials have denounced a small contingent of neo-Nazis who paraded Saturday afternoon through a Columbus neighborhood—waving flags featuring swastikas and shouting a racist slur—in the latest public demonstration by White nationalists in recent years across the United States.
“Around a dozen people in black pants, shirts and head coverings—their faces obscured by red masks—marched along the street near downtown Columbus as three carried black flags emblazoned with red swastikas, footage provided to CNNaffiliate WBNS shows.
“At least one person yelled, ‘N****r,’ again and again, according to the video that’s garnered online attention far beyond Ohio’s capital. The group strode past low-rise brick buildings housing a salon and a clothing boutique, along with cafes serving tacos, coffee, cookies and bar grub, as its leader shouted through a black bullhorn.”
Other racist incidents have followed the re-election of Trump from Black people getting text messages telling them to meet at a certain location to begin their work as slaves on a plantation to a viral video of a Black woman getting accosted on a public street by a cowardly racist White man.
None of these incidents should surprise Black America because we saw it regularly from 2017-2021.
When Trump entered the White House, hate crimes went up according to data from the FBI.
Therefore, do not find it shocking if hate crimes against Black people rise again over the next four years.
Some Black people can make excuses for Trump all they want.
But his entire life has shown us what he stands for from discriminating against prospective Black tenants in the 1970s to calling for the reinstatement of the death penalty for five innocent Black and Brown New York teenagers in the 1980s.
His life has always represented White supremacy and White elitism.
In his second term, Trump will fight for those that identify as White supremacists, White nationalists and the White elite.
He can pretend that he cares about America.
He can pretend that he cares for the working-class.
And he can pretend that he will make America great again.
However, all he will do over the next four years is make America hate again and make America White again.
And the fact that he conned so many Black men with his fake tough talk and lies about curbing inflation is baffling to me.
But it should not be if I just look at American history.
I often say that whenever Black Americans experienced success, many in White America responded with intense backlash from Jim Crow laws to the destruction of successful Black communities like Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Okla.
However, I often fail to mention that throughout history, the Black community has always had some members that would curtail the advancement of the Black community, just to curry favor with the White power structure.
Those Black people included the house slaves who told the slave master that the field slaves had plans for escape or revolt.
During the Civil Rights Movement, many Black people worked with the FBI and local law enforcement officials to plot the assassinations of Black leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X and Fred Hampton.
However, those Black people probably did not realize that helping White supremacists only helped continue White supremacy because if no Black person would help White supremacists, then their false sense of superiority would have disappeared generations ago.
Today, the Black people hurting their people just so that they can benefit personally are the Black people who pretend like racism does not exist.
They are the Black people that can tolerate White supremacy if they do well individually in the stock market.
The kind of Black people that Trump and other White supremacists rely on to fulfill their ungodly and demonic wishes will support a wannabe White dictator if they can get close to that power and maybe get a cabinet job.
But therein lays the rub.
White supremacists do not see that good Negro as equal no matter how much shucking and jiving he/she does.
That is why Trump has yet to name a Black person to his cabinet.
Maybe, someone from the Blacks for Trump group will get a job cleaning, building or fixing the kitchen cabinets in the White House.
But that is as far as they will get because they voted for a caste system that has them at the bottom of the barrel.
Some Black people, and Brown people, are in for a rude awakening in the coming years.
TikTok already has viral video of a Black male Trump supporter getting upset that the MAGA world does not want him anymore now that they have his vote.
But that hatred that some Black people have experienced since Nov. 5 was commonplace for Black people back in the day.
And many people chose to go back in the day with a politician who thinks America was great when it was not great for our people.
Well, many Black people got what they voted for.
