GOP, Trump Must Blame Themselves for Mark Robinson Fiasco

I have some unsolicited advice for the modern Republican Party and conservative media outlets.

Stop parading self-loathing Black people and Black people who dream of White acceptance on the campaign stump and on television as if their presence will resonate with other Black people and help you achieve some far-fetched dream of stealing Black voters from the Democrats.

Until conservatives realize that it will take more than a Black face to persuade Black voters to come to their side, they will continue to nominate dumpster fire candidates like North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, who is running for governor, and former football star Herschel Walker, who ran for United State Senate, and wonder why their Black skin does not translate to more Black votes.

Racist people love to prove that they are not racists by saying that they have Black friends.

To them, their Black co-worker, classmate or neighbor proves that they cannot harbor racist views.

But if they miraculously have a real Black friend, it is often that one Black person who hates the skin they are in.

It is that one Black person that makes them feel less racist because the Black person harbors the same hatred that they have towards the Blacks.

If a Black person says racist and stereotypical things about other Black people, it cannot be racist.

If the hatred comes from a Black mouth, it must be true.

Racist White people often praise that special Black as a true conservative.

But often that Black person is not conservative at all.

Actually, that Black person hates themselves and takes that hate out on people who look like them or come from a similar background.

The so-called Black conservative has low self-esteem because they have been taught, and somehow believe, that their brown skin makes them inferior to their counterparts of a lighter hue.

As a result, the so-called Black conservative will speak negatively on their own people because the White praise they receive makes their self-esteem explode in delight.

That’s what type of brother Robinson is.

He is the type of brother that calls himself a Black Nazi.

Robinson feels comfortable saying ignorant things like that because he hates Black people like the Nazis do.

And somehow his warped view on race and culture makes him belief that if he could equal the hatred that the Nazis display towards Black people they will approve of him, making him better than the other Blacks.

When Robinson said that slavery was good and that some people need to be slaves, he was exhibiting the same characteristics of a stereotypical house Negro who thinks he is better than the field slaves because “Massa” lets him sleep in the big house and wear better clothes.

He does not realize that when the time is right or necessary, “Massa” will sell him up the river like he would do any of his field Negroes, regardless of where they lay their head.

While many members of the GOP and conservative media have said that former President Donald Trump continues to make inroads with Black voters, do not believe that nonsense because he has done little to endear himself to Black voters, who are just as sophisticated as any other demographic when it comes to politics.

In recent decades, Black people have made too much progress in life to find it impressive to see a Black face on the television.

The 21st century is not a time where Black people call their friends and relatives to turn on the television because “colored people” are on like Oprah Winfrey once did as a young child.

This is a generation that is accustomed to seeing Black faces on television.

Therefore, the television show and the performances must be good to peak our interests.

Back in the day, many Black people cheered for the Houston Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins (at the time) because they had starting Black quarterbacks.

A Black person might have gotten excommunicated from their race for cheering against Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham or Doug Williams.

Now, the NFL is inundated with Black quarterbacks and Black coaches.

Therefore, those quarterbacks and coaches have a little more to prove to get Black fan support.

The same goes for politics.

Black America has enjoyed mayors, governors and even a president that looks like them.

So, Black people no longer want an emblem or a trophy in a leader.

They actually want someone who has their best interest.

That is why Vice President Kamala Harris is working diligently to gain support from Black voters, especially Black men.

Black voters want reparations.

Black voters want more money for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Black voters want less crime.

Black voters want cheaper groceries.

Black voters want to own an affordable home.

Black voters want a good public school system.

Black voters want to afford to send their children to college or trade school.

Black voters want to feel protected by the police, not victimized or harassed by them.

Black voters want their voting rights and civil rights protected.

Black voters want the war in Gaza to stop.

Black voters want Ukraine to defeat Russia.

Black voters want an end to systemic racism.

Black voters want a return of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

Black voters want affirmative action programs in college admissions to return.

Black voters want equal treatment when they apply for a bank loan to buy a home or start a new business.

Black voters want our true history taught in schools.

Black voters want a decent life like all Americans.

What Black voters do not want is for the GOP and conservative media to keep insulting our intelligence by thinking we will vote for any Black clown because the Republican Party enjoys the racist Trump circus.

That’s my unsolicited Ted talk or soap box speech.

Take it or leave it.

But if the GOP leaves it, they will continue to leave Black votes for the Democratic Party.
