Excellent perspective Maco! I feel that men and women are both guilty of this during certain times in a relationship. And because men and women often speak two completely different love languages, their ideas of quality time are two totally opposite sets of activities. As you stated, the key is a balance of cakin' and kickin' from both parties for a successful, happy medium. However, that struggle to find and maintain balance is the "devil in the detail." People are innately so selfish that the balance for some is almost impossible... Which then results in one person in the relationship feeling slighted. But your article is the enlightenment needed to shed light on this issue. Hopefully more men and women will seek to create that balance within their relationships as a result!
