Apathy

What is a voice that goes unheard?
What are problems if they are unknown?
What is change if it is never initiated?
What is a vote to an apathetic people?
We complain when our communities are ignored
But are somehow missing in action when it matters most
Generations ago, many lost lives
To enjoy a process that is a God-given right
But some fail to pick up the torch and continue the fight.
